The Fashion Business Management Programme is aimed at providing a graduate learning pathway to students of diverse background to learn in-depth Product Development, International Sourcing, Industrial Engineering, Fashion Merchandising, Production Planning and Dynamics of Marketing Fashion Products.

The curriculum is well structured and planned in four levels with the Foundation Level (level 0) focusing on building a sound, basic ground for business competencies in core technical areas of fashion industry. The subsequent levels aim at imparting basic, advanced and research based education in the chosen area of specialization. The modules taught at the Foundation Level are Business Environment, Fashion Industry Appreciation, Elements of Fashion Design and Business Communication Skills. The final stage of this level is 'Synthesis' where the students’ research works are presented to an invited group of the industry.

In the next level, learning concentrates on the basic understanding and skills significant to the chosen discipline/specialism of the Business of Fashion. With modules like Market Dynamics, Manufacturing and Merchandising, the students get a deeper understanding of the three main strands of commercial functioning of fashion, i.e., Merchandising, Manufacturing and Marketing. They are also introduced to one of the International languages that are taught at the Academy at this level.

The students in the level 2 take their previous learning to a higher, complex and sophisticated stage of understanding, and engage in practical projects, therefore, coming to terms with reality of the world in the learning space. Through application based modules like Planning & Control Systems, Product Commercials, Industry Internship, the students are provided with an opportunity to reinforce theoretical knowledge with practical experience. During this level, the students are also provided with an option to study elsewhere, or abroad, at approved institutions, under a student exchange scheme.

The last level, i.e., level 3 provides the students with maximum flexibility to learn at the Academy or in the real world, through a variety of options. This facilitates students to create a unique pathway to a very meritorious achievement of final work through specialisation modules like Long Industry Attachment and Dissertation Project.
