Eligibility:
10+2
Tests for FD, TD, CD, JD, IAD, FSID, FMC
Candidates answer the General Proficiency Test (GPT), in English language to demonstrate their proficiency in language (comprehension, vocabulary, and expression), basic mathematics, logic etc. They have to appear in the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) which examines candidate’s aptitude for creativity, drawing and communication skills. Candidates who score above the cut-off score from GPT and DAT are called for Situational Test and Personal Interview.
The Situational Test is a group activity in which you will have to collaborate with other candidates to implement a design brief with provided materials within a stipulated duration of time.
Tests for FBM, FRM
Candidates answer a 60-minute General Proficiency Test (GPT) in English language to demonstrate their proficiency in language (comprehension, vocabulary, and expression), basic mathematics, logic etc. Successful candidates from the GPT are called for further screening through of Group Discussion and Personal Interview. |

Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University

MA Design (Fashion & Textiles)
Eligibility:
[MAFT]Graduate degree/ diploma from Pearl/ NIFT/ NID/ other Indian/Foreign Institutes of repute in Fashion/ Textile Design
Or
B.Sc. (Textiles & Clothing)
Or
Any graduate with sufficient experience in Fashion/Textile Design
Selection Procedure:
Statement of Purpose: At the time of application, the candidate will be required to submit a scholarly essay identifying problem(s) of interest, which will be subject to close examination and further discussion during the interview.
Portfolio Examination: At the interview the candidate will be required to exhibit previous work (from during undergraduate curriculum or during work or both); the portfolio will be examined and the candidate tested for attributes considered essential for pursuing the programme Interview: This is an occasion for an extended dialogue to cover the above and search the candidate's aptitude in a comprehensive and holistic manner.
MA Fashion Marketing [MAFMG]
Eligibility:
Graduate degree/diploma from Pearl/ NIFT/ NID/ other Indian/ Foreign Institutes of repute in Fashion Design, Technology/ Business disciplines
Or
B.Sc. (Textiles & Clothing)
Or
Any graduate with or without experience in fashion business functions. (NOTE: candidates, when enrolled, complete the programmes (MAFMG) in 4 semesters, 2 years; for all others, the duration is 3 semesters, 1 ½ years. Please refer Prospectus for details).
Selection Procedure:

General Proficiency Test (MA-GPT): This test, comprised of 120 questions to be objectively answered in 90 minutes, will examine the candidate's proficiency in English language ability, comprehension, mathematical and quantitative ability (12th standard equivalent), logic and reasoning, and data interpretation.
Interview: This is an occasion for an extended dialogue to cover the statement of purpose and search the candidate's aptitude in a comprehensive and holistic manner. |
