From the time Chennai branch was set up in the year 2006, its mission has been to promote fashion as a serious global profession. It is striving to create a skilled human resource pool for the Indian fashion & textile economy including retail, which historically has had a serious manpower crunch.

PAF Chennai offers a cohesive and nurturing environment for learning with an emphasis on development of self motivated learning, which is in line with all PAF branches. Chennai branch has customised its curriculum and pedagogy to meet needs and demands of the apparel and textile industry worldwide including the local industry. Its active interaction and engagement with the industry has ensured internships, live projects and final placements for its graduates with best of the companies. The Fashion and Textile Industry has extended support by sponsoring several projects and student scholarships in Chennai.
